A recap of the enchanting show that lit up the city.
Last Friday, on January 10th, a breathtaking drone show lit up the sky above Rotterdam, bringing the adventure of Hans Pfaall to life.
This adventure, written by Edgar Allan Poe, follows the fictional Rotterdammer Hans Pfaall, who in 1835 embarks on a 19-day journey to the moon from Rotterdam in a homemade hot air balloon, driven by curiosity and the quest for the unknown.
During the grand opening of Celest, this story was spectacularly presented to the city. The drone show took the audience on a visual journey from Rotterdam to the moon, passing planets and stars. The Rotterdam skyline shined like never before, with hundreds of drones coming together to form a magical story.
This moment not only marked the start of Celest but also put Rotterdam in the spotlight. We look forward to the bright future of Celest.
The event was broadcasted trough a livestream, allowing everyone to experience this unique moment. Watch the video below.
