You’ll be welcomed with a drink and enjoy an evening full of atmosphere, bites, and live entertainment by a DJ and saxophonist.
At midnight, you’ll toast with champagne as the National Fireworks light up the city. This might be the final edition, so it’s a unique chance to experience this special moment from the very best spot.
Open every Friday and Saturday evening
From Friday 2 January, Celest will once again welcome guests to the Skybar every Friday and Saturday evening. A DJ will create a great atmosphere while you enjoy a wide selection of bites, drinks, and delicious cocktails. The restaurant remains closed for regular visits for the time being.

Temporary traffic measures will be in place around the Scheepvaartkwartier on New Year’s Eve due to the National Fireworks at the Erasmus Bridge. Please allow for altered routes and extra travel time.
We advise against coming by car, as many roads around the Erasmus Bridge will be closed. Still coming by car? You can park for free at a P+R site. Boompjes Parking Garage is the nearest and open 24/7.

From 9:00 PM on 31 December until 2:00 AM on 1 January, metro travel to and from the National Fireworks is free. Leuvehaven station will be closed; get off at Beurs and walk from there.

From Celest, you have a breathtaking view of the Erasmus Bridge, where the National Fireworks will take place. There’s no outdoor area, but from the sky bar and the restaurant, you can enjoy the spectacle with a glass of champagne in hand.
