We are proud to share that, after just two months since opening, we have earned a spot in the Gault&Millau Netherlands guide.
Gault&Millau is a prestigious restaurant guide that ranks the best restaurants worldwide. It uses a 20-point system, where anything above 12 points is already a mark of excellence. Unlike the Michelin Guide, which awards stars, Gault&Millau gives points and chef’s hats to outstanding restaurants.
Celest received 13 points, which means that Celest has an ambitious kitchen and that we also earned our very first chef’s hat, a milestone we are incredibly proud of!
We have received the following description: “On the 58th floor of De Zalmhaven, with a panoramic view over Rotterdam, you’ll be closer to the sky than ever before. The interior is inspired by a 19th-century science fiction story, blending earthly and modern elements. The compact menu focuses on quality and flavor, blending local ingredients with global influences.”
